Terms of Service

Welcome to SpiritClicker ("the Game", "we", "our"). By creating an account or playing, you agree to these terms. If you disagree, please don't use the Game.

1. The Service

SpiritClicker is a browser-based tap/idle game with optional NFT integrations on the Enjin Blockchain. We provide it as-is, on a best-effort basis, with no guarantee of uptime, persistence, or future availability.

2. Eligibility & account

You must be at least 16 years old to play. If you are between 16 and 18, you confirm a parent or guardian has consented.
One account per person. Sharing, selling or transferring accounts is not allowed.
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials safe. We can't recover an account if your email is lost or your wallet's seed phrase is stolen.

3. Acceptable use

You may not:

Use automated tools, bots, macros or modified clients to play. The save format is server-validated and accounts caught cheating may be banned without warning or refund.
Exploit bugs to gain in-game currency, levels, NFTs or leaderboard positions you did not legitimately earn.
Harass other players, impersonate staff, or use offensive usernames.
Attempt to reverse-engineer, attack, or disrupt our servers, edge functions, or smart-contract integrations.

4. NFTs and the Enjin Blockchain

SpiritClicker reads NFT ownership data from the Enjin Blockchain to grant optional in-game boosts. We do not control:

The Enjin Blockchain itself or any wallet software you use.
The price, availability or future value of any NFT.
Whether a given NFT collection will remain compatible with the Game in the future.

NFT-derived boosts are a courtesy feature and may be modified or removed at any time. The Game itself is fully playable without any NFTs.

5. In-game currencies

Essence, Echoes and any other in-game currency have no real-world monetary value. They cannot be redeemed for cash and are not tokens on a blockchain. We may adjust their balance, supply or earn-rate at any time to maintain game balance.

6. Data & privacy

We store: your account identifier (your email, or — depending on how you sign in — your Google email, Telegram account ID, or Enjin wallet address), your chosen username, your game save state, and a leaderboard score derived from that save.
We use Supabase for authentication and data storage. Their privacy policy applies.
We do not sell your data to third parties.
You can request deletion of your account by contacting us; we'll remove your profile and save data within 30 days.

7. No warranty

The Game is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We make no guarantees about availability, accuracy, security or merchantability. Your use of the Game is at your own risk.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages, lost profits, lost game progress, or lost NFT value arising from your use of the Game. Our total liability for any direct damages is capped at €50.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms occasionally. Material changes will be announced on the login screen or via a toast in-game. Continued play after a change means you accept it.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Belgium. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Antwerp, Belgium, unless a binding consumer law in your country says otherwise.
